Liou
Yi is a student of righteousness with a heart
of justice; however he failed his examination
and chooses to return to his homeland. On his
way home, he acquaints with the Dragon Lady who
is herding sheep by herself in the remote lea.
The Dragon Lady confides her calamity to Liou
Yi who, chivalric as he is, decides to help her
by meeting the Dragon King underwater. He presents
to the king a token to identify his relation with
the Dragon Lady, and informs him the tragedy of
his beloved niece. The Dragon King becomes furious
at the news and fights to reclaim the hostage.
The Dragon Lady then is saved and in gratitude,
falls in love with Liou Yi and the couple lives
happily ever after.
